What’s Next for We Will Sail Again

🇯🇵 日本語版: [We Will Sail Again 今後の活動方針について]

We Will Sail Again has been sharing information and organizing fan-driven projects to support from ARGONAVIS through our website and social media.

At the same time, we have come to feel that, in order to keep this project going with limited resources, it is more important to focus on what We Will Sail Again can do best rather than trying to do everything.

Going forward, we will move away from a model based on frequent day-to-day updates and instead focus on fewer, more meaningful projects that we can build carefully and sustain over time.

What We Want to Focus On

In our future activities, we would especially like to focus on the following:

  • Connecting fans in Japan and overseas
  • Enjoying places and local culture connected to from ARGONAVIS
  • Creating projects that fans can take part in easily
  • Leaving records of our activities that can lead to future participation
  • Keeping the project sustainable without placing an excessive burden on the people running it

Rather than simply increasing the number of posts or projects, we want to create activities that people can feel were worth joining, and records that help others understand what we do and encourage them to take part in the future.

What We Hope to Work On

Projects Connecting Fans in Japan and Overseas

from ARGONAVIS has fans not only in Japan, but around the world.

Building on our past Japanese-English communication, We Will Sail Again would like to create opportunities that help connect Japanese-speaking fans with fans overseas.

Our goal is not simply to translate information. We hope to create chances for fans to discover one another and connect as people who share the same love for from ARGONAVIS.

Fan Meetups, Pilgrimages, and Travel Projects

We would also like to gradually explore small-scale fan meetups where people can talk about from ARGONAVIS together, as well as pilgrimage and travel projects that visit places connected to the series.

Locations such as Hakodate and Nagasaki each have their own appeal and their own connections to from ARGONAVIS.

Rather than holding large-scale events frequently, we hope to develop these ideas one at a time in a way that takes participants’ time, cost, and physical burden into consideration, while allowing people to enjoy both the series and the places connected to it more deeply.

We also hope to explore forms of interaction that overseas fans can join without excessive financial or physical burden.

Activity Records and Information That Leads to Future Participation

Our website will continue to serve as the main base for We Will Sail Again.

We will mainly use it to share project announcements, participation information, and records of completed activities so that people who may want to join in the future can understand what our activities are like.

When appropriate, we will also introduce other fan initiatives and existing information sources rather than trying to gather everything within We Will Sail Again itself.

Instead of competing on speed or completeness, we want to preserve the information that is useful for understanding and taking part in our own projects and activities.

Working Alongside Other Fan Activities

There are many different fan-led activities supporting from ARGONAVIS, not only We Will Sail Again.

We believe that each project has its own strengths, style, and role.

For that reason, we do not intend to operate as if all fan activities need to become one. We Will Sail Again will maintain its own identity while sharing information or coordinating when appropriate, especially when projects may overlap.

When it comes to organizing information, we also want to respect areas where other fan initiatives are already doing strong and thorough work. We Will Sail Again will place more emphasis on creating opportunities for interaction, organizing projects, and giving fans reasons and chances to participate.

Rather than competing with other fan initiatives that share the same goal, we hope that each can make use of its own strengths and help expand the ways in which people can support from ARGONAVIS.

From “More Updates” to “Activities That Last”

You may notice that updates on our website or X are less frequent than before.

However, this does not mean that We Will Sail Again is ending or stepping away from its activities.

Instead of focusing on the number of daily posts, we want to put more time into carefully prepared projects, connections between fans, and records that can encourage future participation.

Our pace may be slower, but we will continue moving forward with the hope that the journey of from ARGONAVIS and its fans will continue as well.

We will share details about future projects on our website and X as soon as they are ready.

Thank you for continuing to support We Will Sail Again.
